China: Determined Cat Clings to Fish Cart in Hilarious Tug-of-War at Xi’an Fishing Park

On November 27, 2025, in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, a video filmed at Yumei Fishing Park captured a hilarious tug-of-war between a cat and a basket of fresh fish. The owner was pulling a small cart loaded with live fish, but a determined cat refused to let it go. Clinging tightly to the rope at the back of the cart with one paw, the cat was dragged along the ground as the cart moved forward — yet it never released its grip. Chinese viewers laughed at the cat’s sheer determination, calling it “a foodie warrior who knows no surrender.” The video quickly went viral for showing just how far one feline would go for a tasty meal.
